EL QUEFER DEL CAFE

"El quefer del café" seeks to eliminate disposable tableware in the cafeterias of the Universitat de les Illes Balears. The idea is to offer a system of cups and lunch boxes for the campus cafeterias, so that all the products offered for takeaway are used within a takeaway and return system of reusable containers.

The aim is to reduce the use of disposable cups in coffee machines, to raise awareness of the potential health problem and the amount of waste generated. The project suggest a system of vending machines that allow the use of personal reusable cups, so as not to dispense a disposable cup each time.
